What you should you know about working on a commercial storefront route at Higher Vision Window Cleaning
- A route is not for everyone. You must be able to get up and work without someone looking over your shoulder. Only 20% of people in the world can do that. Are you one of the 20%?
- You must be able to get an early start (like 6am). Restaurants must be done before they open.
- Everyone in the company is paid on Performance Percentage Pay. What does that mean to you? Every route pays a percentage of around 43%. The more work you complete, the more money you make. Just like production in a factory.
- You can rent our uniforms, equipment or buy your own. It’s $25 per week. If you break it or lose it, or it simply wears out, we replace it. This includes squeegee blades every other week.
- Commercial Routes are 1099, you set your own schedule as long as your route book is completed each week. Take a long weekend? Work four 10-hour days, as often as you like.
- Everything you use is a tax-deduction. You can write off business miles, cell phone, equipment, lunch, and a whole lot more. Do your research and talk to your tax accountant.
- There is a 2-week wall. You have to learn the area and your route and expect to use muscles you don’t use often. Don’t give up as it will get better. Everyone goes through it. Daniel (the owner) has been in your shoes.
- There is always room to grow at Higher Vision. Learn the art of window cleaning and if you want to advance let us know. We have W-2 positions as well.
- COMMUNCATION IS KEY TO THIS POSITION! We cannot help you if we do not know what’s going on. We are here to help you be the best you can be.
We hope that you chose to come on board with us here at Higher Vision. Call us at 682-313-9222 if you are interested or have any questions.
